This doublepage spread i found in a free magazine for the clothing shop topshop. This type of layout would be appropriate for a page of my flyer, by being a current, contemporary editorial layout.
I have found these old fashioned images in the magazine Vice, to edit over, with anything from more magazine cuts, photographs and mark making. I dont want these very detailed, so perhaps a few block colours and repetative simple patterns worked over the top would give it the desired look.
These are an example of the type of work i would include in the editoral layout, shown at the top of this post.
